GWMA PUBLIC INFfJR1VG4TICJN AND EDUCATION BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Calumbia Basin Ground Water Management �
Area {G4VMA) Public Inform�tianl�ducation Specialist presented a six
month budget proposal to the E�ecutive Baard in the amount of�45,000
requestin; expenditure of GWI�ZA grant monies; and
WHEREAS, this budget inciudes the creation of a CDR.om and
vid�a, events suppart, website upgrade, infarmatinnal materials, and
other public education materials; a�d
�VHEREAS, the E�ecu�ive Board approved �he budget request
for expenditure o:f fi�nds pending the approvai af �he County
Commissioners; a,nd
WI3EREAS, the G'V'UMA Administrator has requested approval
from the Grant Caunty Commissioners, and
ti�EREAS, the Board of Grant County Commissioners
constitutes the legislative authority of Grant Caunty and d�ems this to
be in the best interest of Grant County;
Nt3�V, THEREFCIRE, SE IT HEREBY RESCfLVED that the
Board of Grant County Commissianers hereby approves e�penditure of
�$45,04U for t�e G'ti'VMA Public Information and Educatian budget
through Juue 3�, 20Q4
