OF INTERLOCAL AG1t�EMENT BETWEEN
PARC AND TAE MOSES LAKE POLICE
, DEPARTMENT ,
WFIEREAS, Chapter 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act,permits local governmental
entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate with other localities
on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and facilities in a manner and
pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best with geographic, economic,
population and other factors influencing the needs and development of local communities; and
WI3EREAS, Gr�nt County,Washington,by and through Grant Integrated Services' Prevention
and Recovery Center(PARC), and the Moses Lake Police Department are vested with authority to enter
into an interlocal agreement pursuant to chapter 39.34 RCW; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Grant County and the Moses Lake Police Departmant to enter into
an interlocal agreement for tha purpose of carrying out enforcement strategies identified within the
Strategic Prevention Framework Grant concerning underage drinking laws, when such activities and
efforts are determined to be in the mutual best interests of the parties.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT R�SOLVED,that the attached Interlocal Agreement between
PARC and the Moses Lalce Police Department be executed by and between Grant County and the Moses
Lake Police Department.
