A l�ESOLUTION relating to �he facts requiring an appropriation
and expe�.dzture a� �unds for the �ollowing departmentJ�und:
Tourism Fund �`�114, Department ��156 �
together with a budget thereior; declaring an emergency; and �
setting a public hearing date; al1 pursuant to RC�1� 36.40.140.
�ti'AEREAS, it has bee� brought to the attention of the Board
a� Count� Commissioners o� Grant County -�hat an apprapriatian
and expendi.ture o� �und� should be authorized �or the above-
mentioned depart�nen�J�und, �ogether wz�h a budget there�or, in
the es�imated amoun� .o� $ 75,000 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure oi such funds �cvas not included in the
current budget o� Grant County, hawever, emergen� condiiior�s
now require that such �unds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditu.re of such �unds could noi have been reasanably �oreseen
at the tzme oi making said cou��y budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF GOUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that ihe a�ore-
mentioned facts constit�te an emergency and that an apprapriation
and expenditure of �unds should be authorized for -�he �ollowing
dep�.rt�tlent f�tznd : Tourism Fund ��I14, Department ��156 ,
together wAih a budget there�ar. —
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that n.otice af a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
February 28, 2000 in the Grant County Commissioners' O�fice,
Grant County Caurthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the haur af
1:00 p.m. . ,
