RESOLUTION No. 07- �� CC
WHEREAS, HB 1359 has been adopted to by the State of Washington to assist in ending homelessness
tlu•oughout Washington and is inst�•ucting the Counties of Washington to do the same;
WHEREAS, HB 1359 inst�ucts the County Auditor to charge an additional $8.00 (Eight Dollars) for each
docuinent recorded, which wi11 be in addition to any other cl�arge authorized by law, and disti�ibute as inst�ucted in
HB 1359;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners appointed the North Cohimbia Community Action
Council as the lead agency to implement and facilitate the activities identified in the Grant County Homeless Task
Force Plan;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 06-004-CC was adopted approving the Grant County Homeless Taslcforce
Ten Year Plan Phase I on January 11, 2006; and Resolution No. 06-250-CC was adopted approving phase II of this
plan on November 7, 2006;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners held an open record public hearing on November 19,
2007 at 1:30 pm to review and adopt HB 1359;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County Commissioners
accepts and adopts HB1359, and request that the Grant County Auditor collect all revenue in association
with HB1359 and this plan be directed to the North Columbia Community Action Council.
