A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RESOLUTION
THE SUBMITTAL DEADLINE FOR No. 2007- � 5' c� -CC
THE 2008 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
AMENDMENT APPLICATIONS
PURSUANT TO GRANT COUNTY
CODE SECTION 25.12.030(e).

DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Grant County Board of County Commissioners iiztend to fully
comply with the laws and regulations of the State of Washington, and;
WHEREAS, the Grant County Board of Coulity Commissioners adopted a
Growth Management Act compliant Comprehensive Land Use Plan in September of
1999, and;
WHEREAS, the Grant County Board of County Commissioners adopted a
Unified Development Code implementing the Comprehensive Plan on October 1, 2000,
and:

amending the Comprehensive Plan, and:
WHEREAS, the Grant County Board of County Commissioners passed
Rasolution 06-269-CC that ameizded the submittal deadline for annual Comprehensive
Plan Amendment Applications, and;
WHEREAS, pursuailt to Resolution 06-269-CC the Grant County Board of
County Commissioners shall, from tiine to time, establish the submittal deadline for the
annual Comprehensive Plan Atnendment petition applications by resolution at a public
meeting, and;
WHEREAS, notice for this public meeting was published in the Columbia Basin
Herald on October 16, 2007 and October 23, 2007, and;
WHEREAS, the Grant County Board of Commissioners conducted an open
public meeting on October 31, 2007 in regards to this matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, THAT the Board of
County Commissioners for Grant County, Washington establish by this Resolution, that
petitions for the 2008 Comprehensive Plan Amendment cycle shall be submitted to the
Grant County Planning Department by the close of business on Monday, March 31, 2008.
