WHEREAS, The Gr�nt County Sheriff's Office owns a 1986 Ford Aerostar Van,
License No. 63758C and Vehicle Identification No. 1FMCA1 lU9GZB26683;
WHEItEAS, The Sheriff's Office has determined that this Ford Van does not suit the needs of
the Deputies worlcing in the field;
W�IEI�AS, The Sheriff's Office is requesting that the Board of County Commissioners declare
surphis this Foi•d Van;
WHEREAS, It is the intent of the Sheriff's Office to transfer ownership of this Van to the
Lincolil County Sheriff's Office without compensation;
NOW, THEREFOItE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the above named Ford Aerostar Van with the intent to transfer
ownership to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.

Dear Comrnissioners,
The Grant County Sheriff's Off"ice is currently the owner of the seized and consequently
forfeited vehicle as listed above pursuant to RCW 69.50,505. The Grant County Sheriff's
Office currently has this vehicle on loan to the Lincoln County Sherif� s Office for us� as
an undercover vehicle in the performance of their law enforcement du�ies of investigating
criminal act�vity to include illegal drug/narcotics,investigations.
In continuing our partnership with the Zincoln County Sherifi's Office in the
investigation of criminal activity we are requesting that you declare this vehicle as
surplus and transfer the ownership of this vehicle ta the Lincoln County Sheriff s Office
without compensation.
