Week of December 27, 2006
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. with
Commissioners Stevens and Allison in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. Commissioner
Moora was out and excused.
The Commissioners approved the recommendation of the Human Resources Director for
Grant Mental Healthcare to eliminate one half time Outstation Assistant position and
subsequently to lay off one .50 FTE Employee.
The Chair of tha Board was authorized to sign a Residential Contract Exhibit B between
Grant County Developmental Disabilities and the State of Washington Department of Social and
Health Services (DSHS) decreasing their program capacity to 20 members.
Commissioners Stevens and Allison signed a Professional Services Agreement for Legal
Representation of Indigent Individuals in Grant County Superior Court (Adult Felony Only) Full
Time Contractor between Grant County and the following: Michael D. Aiken, and Brian D. Gwinn.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Payroll Journal for the month of December
The Commissioners granted permission to Jim Thompson of the Grant County Mosquito
Control District #1, to operate in the airspace over Grant County during the 2007 year, for the
purpose of mosquito abatement.
Commissioners Stevens and Allison appointed Deborah Moore to the North Central
Regional Library Board of Trustees.
The Commissioners approved and signed a Commercial Rental Agreement between
Grant County and the Veterans Coalition of Grant County, for the Veterans Coalition to rent a
building located at 1008 West Ivy, Moses Lake, WA from the County.
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign a United Way of Grant County — Funding
Application to assist with funding for New Hope Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Services.
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign a 2007 Marlceting/Development Contract
between Grant County Tourism Commission and Burlce Marlceting and Promotion (Bill Burlce)
for the development and implementation of the Tourism promotion plan.
The Commissioners appointed Leigh Allison and Ray Lopez to the Grant County PARC
Community Advisory Board.

As there was no furthar business to corne before the Board the session was continued
until December 29, 2006.

The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all the Commissioners in attendance with the
Clerlc of the Board.
The Chazr of the Board was authorized to sign the Central WA Leasing of WA / Bob
Fancher (Section 29 Short Plat) Final Plat Submission and Review, File #06-4457-01,
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued
until January 2, 2007
