The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a,m, with all the
Commissioners in attendance with the Deputy Clerlc of the Board, �
The Commissioners authorized the Grant County Health District to purchase and hold for
County Employees use, 1200 sets of anti-virals for emergency responders and Emergency
Management to purchase respirator masks, both for the possibility of bird�u contamination in
Grant County.
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign approval of the Special Occasion License
Ap�lication of the Big Bend Community College Foundation, 7662 Chanute St NE, Moses Lake,
WA 98837; and new application from Sunfire Grill, 23572 Sunserra Loop NW, Ste 2, Quincy,
WA 98848, from the Washing�St�te Liquor_Contr_ol_B_oar_d.
The Commissioners requested the following budget transfers:
• $2,510.00 from Small Tools to Advertising for a"Partnership for a Drug-Free
America" campaign ad;
• $800.00 from Salaries to Commissioners OfI"ice Supplies for the purchase of
Public Records Officer Supplies; ,
• $75,000.00 from Tourism Reserve to $20,000.00 Professional Services and i
$55,000.00 to Miscellaneous. ;

A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Allison, that i
resolution number 06-253-CC, a resolution regarding the Strategic Infrastructure Committee I
recommendation for funding, be passed. The motion carried. ;

A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Allison, that �
resolution number 06-254-CC, a resolution ranarning the Moses Lake Grange Hall on the Grant ;
County Fairgrounds to the Hucic Fuller Building, be passed. The motion carried. �

The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all the Commissioners in attendance with the
Deputy Clerk of the Board.
As of this date, the Board,Uy a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers
certi�ed by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement
claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amount$2,665,861.61,
as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
The Commissioners approved a budget transfer request from the Accounting Department
as follows:
• $490,000.00 to Current Expense from Law and Justice;
• $79,391.00 to Information Services from Current Expense;
• $15,957.00 to the Fairgrounds from Current Expense; and
• $33,360.00 to Emergency Management from Current Expense.
The Commissioners approved the following recommendations from the Human
Resources Directior:
• PARC to eliminate one full time Prevention Outreach position and subsequently lay
off one full time employee at:
• To deny the request of a Sheriff's Office employee to donate sicic leave outside of
existing policy.
• Prosecuting Attorney's Office to hire Jodi Zimbelman as Legal Secretary IV, with the
hire date of December 15, 2006.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding the Sheriff's Office
former sub-station and 2007 proposed budget.
As the�e was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued
until November 27, 2006.
