RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RESOLUTION No. 06-as�v-CC
CURRENT EXPENSE BUDGET FOR 2007
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has met and considered the Current
Expense budget for the calendar year 2007; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, in the course of considering the
budget for 2007 has reviewed all sources of revenue and examined all anticipated expenses and
obligations; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that due to funding
needed to pay for the ever increasing costs relating to the criminal justice system, growth
management, and other costs mandated by the State of Washington, they �nd that there is a
substantial need to expand the regular property tax limit factor above the rate of inflation;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the limit factor for the
regular levy for the calendar year 2007 shall be 1.00 percent in addition to the increase resulting
from the addition of new construction and improvements to property and any increases in the
value of state assessed property, or the amount of $81,466.00.
