RESOLUTION No. 06 �� -CC
WHEREAS, the following Grant County funds do not have an adequate level of budget
appropriation to make all necessary expenditures:
• Sheriff -$20,000.00 for a reimbursable grant fi•om the WA State Patrol as part of the NW High Intensity
Diug Traf�cking Area's National Marijuana Initiative
• Sheriff -$2000.00 to purchase infraction books
• Jail - $12,500.00 video arraignment/court system
• Juvenile Court -$5099.00 Community Juvenile Accountability Act grant
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing
the 2006 budget;
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriations; and
WHEREAS, on October 10, 2006 at 3:00 pm, a public hearing was held in the Grant
County Commissioners' Hearing Room for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of $25,099.00 to be allocated to the 2006 budgets
according to the following schedule of categories and items:
