BOCC Action A motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by Commissioner Stevens, to approve items 1, 2, and 4 on the Consent Agenda as presented. Item 3 did not arrive for signature. The motion passed unanimously, 1. Possible vouchers for Interfund Communications, insurance, and/or grant administration. (Approved) 2. Authorization for Release of BOCC Approved Funds on Strategic Infrastructure Project #2012-02, City of George Wastewater Treatment Plan Lagoon Survey in the form of a $10,000 grant and release of the 2.5% Administrative Fee of the total project funding in the amount of $250 to the Grant County Economic Development Council, (Approved) 3. Anticipating: 2013 Agreement Regarding Use of County Property for Public Purpose between Grant County and the Ephrata Chamber of Commerce, Inc. for BASIN SUMMER SOUNDS' Music Festival to be held July 19 -20, 2013. (Approved) 5. Chelan County Resolution No, 2013-38 (Five Joint Resolution) regarding the appointment of Dawn Clark as trustee to the North Central Regional Library Board of Trustees for a 7 year term, representing Chelan County. (Approved) 6. The following citizens submitted applications to be considered for a position on the Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC): James Berschauer, Danna DalPorto, and Ronald H. Medcalf. (Approved) 7. Request from the City of Moses Lake to amend the Settlement Agreement to provide a $323,000.00 reduction in payment under the Settlement Agreement to Grant County for 2012 and asking the County to defer $1,088,000,00 of the payment in 2013 until a determination of the assessed value by the Washington State Board of Tax Appeals. (The request to defer the 2013 payment was denied) HUMAN RESOURCES 8. Personnel Action Request for the salary, wage, and/or position changes for Ramona DeLeon, Directions in Community Living. (Approved) SHERIFF'S OFFICE 9. Out of state travel for Deputy Joseph Harris to attend G.R.E,A,T. Officer Training sponsored by the National Program for School Resource Officers from July 8-17, 2013 in �erkeley, CA. (Ap�rav�d) FAIRGROUNDS 10. Recommendation to award the installation of 3 water meters in Restrooms #1 and #7, and in the Ardel Pavilion, to Comfort Expert Plumbing in the amount of $6,657.43 (including tax), using Fairgrounds Bond funds. (Approved) Page 3 of 5 Gran� County Cor°nr�nissioners Minu�es Week of May 20, 2013 DISTRICT COURT 11, Request to hire Columbia Engineering and change order from The DOH Associates, PS in the amount not to exceed $6,000.00 to cover the cost of an engineer stamped traffic memo and possible traffic study for the increased services for the application of the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the Moses Lal<e District Court remodel project. (Approved) EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 12, Request from Legacy Resort at Frenchman Hills to deviate from the County addressing grid system and privately name certain roads within their Planned Unit Development (PUD), (The Commissioners approved the request to privately name the roads within their Planned Unit Development BUT are requiring that one address with lot numbers be issued at the access point to the State Highway) MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified �by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $486,130.14 and $667,627.04, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. The Commissioners approved and signed the Grant County Payroll Authorization form for the May 24, 2013 payroll.
