WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, were petitioned
to vacate portions of certain County road easement described as follows:
Legal description:
A CERTAIN COUNTY ROAD AND RIGHT-OF-WAY KNOWN AS MCANDREWS AV ROADLOG
41615 Mileposts 0.15 to 0.27 IN SECTION 8
T19N R28E.W.M, ALL IN GRANT COUNTY, WA.
AND as shown on Attached Exhibit A
WHEREAS, a notice of hearing on the report for vacation and abandonment was published in
the County official newspaper at least once a week for four consecutive weeks preceding the date fixed
for the hearing, and a copy of said notice was posted for at least twenty days preceding the date fixed
for hearing at each termini of the county road or portion thereof to be vacated or abandoned; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did consider the report given by the County
Road Engineer, together with any evidence for or objection against said vacation and abandonment;

WHEREAS, the above described County road and right-of-way is not useful as part of the �
County road system and the public will be benefitted by the vacation and abandonment. �

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners vacates and �
abandons all interest in the County road easement as described above; EXCEPT any existing ;
easement to accommodate existing power lines, communications lines and other franchised and/or
permitted public and private utilities.
