Home My WebLink AboutResolution 13-016-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION- RESCINDING RESOLUTION No. 2013- v�� -CC RESOLUTION NO. 03-013-CC AND AMENDING THE GRAloTT COUNTY LEVIES FOR 2013 TAXES ON this 5�' day of March, 2013, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, pursuant to the laws of the State of Washington, providing for the assessment of taxes in the State of Washington, do hereby levy a tax on all taxable property in Grant County, and the taxable property within the various taxing districts, as shown by the Assessment rolls of said county, said being for the puipose of defraying the State, County, Road, Municipal, Hospital, Fire District, Cemetery Districts and other Expenses; and WHEREAS, the amount so levied for the State purposes as determined by the State Board of Equalization has been certified to the County Assessor by the Auditor of the State of Washington; and WHEREAS, the Director, Supervisors and Commissioners of various School Districts, Port Districts and other Districts and Municipalities have been cer�ified to the County Assessor for the amounts needed to meet the expenses for the year 2013; and WHEREAS, it is necessary in some districts that a tax be levied to pay interest on bonds, and create a sinking fund for the purpose of paying indebtedness, WHEREAS, it was found that the Pro-Rated indication on Fire Districts 3, 10, 11, and 14 were left off erroneously and needed to be amended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT all members concurring, that f,or the purposes of raising revenue for the State, County, Road and other purposes, thereby and hereby is levied on all taxable property in the County of Grant, taxes sufficient to raise the following amounts found on the attached REVISED spreadsheet and rescind Resolution 03-013- CC previously adopted on March 5, 2013.
