RESOLUTION TO D�CLARE SURPLUS RESOLUTION No. 12- v�� CC
GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF'S VAN AND JET
SKiSURPLUS
WHEI2EAS, The Grant County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Unit (SAR) owns a 1985
Ford Van (VIN 1FTJE34llFHA40799) and a 1998 Yamaha Jet Ski (HIN YAMA2359F898);
WHEREAS, The Sheriffl s Office SAR has determined that these items do not suit the needs of
the unit any longer; and
WHEREAS, The Sheriff's Office SAR is requesting that the Board of County Commissioners
declare surplus the Van and Jet Slci; and
WHEREAS, It is the intent of the Sheriff's Office SAR to exchange the Jet Ski for a new
underwater camera that is practical and bene�cial in search and rescue missions; and the Van will be sold
at auction,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the above named Van and Jet Ski with the intent as listed above.
