attendance. Commissioner Carter was out and excused.

Comrnissioners Office Safety Meeting
Citizen Public Comment Period (No public in attendance)
Open Record Public Hearing, 2oi3 Grant County Budget, Tax Levies, and
Capital Facilities Plan Adoption.
The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to adopt Che 2oi3 Grant County Budget,
Making Tax Levies, and Adopt the Capital Facilities Plan.
Dave Firebaugh, Auditor stated that Jacob Taylor, Chief Accountant has put together the zoi3
Budget for the BOCC to approve today. The total balanced budget is $i3o�583�928•00. The
current expense budget is $35�919�301.00. (Resolution 12-o�6-CC)
The levy certification amount is increasing 4.2i915o% ($666,487.00) from the previous year, as
prepared by the Assessor's Office. (Resolution No. 12-o77-CC). The Capital Facilities plan for
2oig-2oi8 is also being presented for adoption, as prepared by the Administrative Services
Coordinator. (Resolution No. i2-o78-CC). Also passed is Resolution No. i2-o75-CC
setting land classification and assessments for funding the 2oig budget of the Noxious Weed
Control Board.
Commissioner Swartz moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing. Coinmissioner
Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. Commissioner
Swartz moved to approve the budget, capital facilities plan, Noxious Weed Control Board Land
Classification and Assessments, and certify the levies as presented. Cominissioner Stevens
seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned.

Extension
The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a budget extension request
for the Veterans Assistance Fund #io4, Department #146 in the amount of $10,000.0o to cover
unforeseen expenditures through the end of 2oi2 (Operating Supplies and Leases and Rentals).
Commissioner Swartz moved to close the public cornment portion of the hearing. Commissioner
Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. Commissioner
Swartz moved to approve the budget extension as presented. Commissioner Stevens seconded
and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned.

from Public Worlcs — Solid Waste Division to re-evaluate the
compensation bands of the Landfill Equipment Operator and the
Landfill Attendant. The Director recommends re-banding the
Landfill Attendant position from Band g to Band 5; but does not
recommend any change to the Landfill Equipment Operator position.

#i25, Department #16�) in the amount of $200,000.0o to receive
additional grant funding from the Washington State Department of
Social and Health Services — Division of Developinental Disabilities,

i1. Budget transfer request (New Hope Fund #128, Department #1�0) in
the ainount of $�65,000.0o from ending fund balance into
salaries/wages and benefits due to step increases after the 2012
