RESOLUTION TO AMEND GRANT COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
INTERIM EVENTS FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, pursuant to chapter 36.32 RCW, the Grant County Board of County
Commissioners (BOCC) have, among other things, the care of the county property and the
management of the county funds and business; and
WHEREAS, Grant County is the titled owner of property commonly known as the Grant
County Fairgrounds, 3953 Airway Drive NE, Moses Lake, Washington; and
V6�HEREAS, Grant County has previously established rental rates for buildings and/or
other personal property situated in and upon the Grant County Fairgrounds; and
WHEREAS, it is the best interests of the public to have policies governing and schedules
establishing rental rates for buildings and/or other personal property situated in and upon the
Grant County Fairgrounds; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to chapter 36.37 RCW, the BOCC may employ persons to assist in
the management of the Grant County Fair and buildings situated thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Fair Manager has recommended to the BOCC that Grant
County adopt the 2013 fee schedule attached hereto as Exhibit "A", concerning interim event
rental for buildings and/or other personal property situated in and upon the Grant County
Fairgrounds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Grant County, does adopt, pursuant to the statutes referenced herein, 2013 fee schedule attached
hereto as Exhibit "A", the same fully incorporated by reference herein.
PROVIDED: Such fee schedule adopted and referenced herein concerning interim event
rental amounts for buildings and/or other personal property situated in and upon the Grant
County Fairgrounds, shall become effective January 1, 2013.
FURTHER, PROVIDED: If any provision contained within this resolution, or its
application to any person, party or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of this resolution
or the application of provisions to other persons, parties or circumstances, shall not be affected.
