were Commissioners Stevens, Carter, and Swartz; and Lee Pence, Civil Deputy Attorney.

from the Department of Community Development for an Exception
to the Hiring Freeze to hire i Code Enforcement Officer/Fire
Investigator due to a recent resignation of a Planner. Their request is
to replace this position with a Code Enforcement Officer. The

6. Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding a request
from the SherifPs Office for an Exception to the Hiring Freeze to hire
1 Detective for the Major Crimes Unit. The Director recommends
approval. (Approved)

As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $625,642.62, $530�509•47� and
