(Approved) g. Emergency Solutions Grant Program Sub Recipient Agreement between Grant County and the Grant County Housing Authority. Grant amount is $89,362.0o with $500.0o designated for Grant County's adrr;inistration costs; grant term is August 1, 2oi2 through June 30, 2oi2. (Approved) 4. Exhibit B, Revision #� to Department of Social & Health Services Contract #1i63-29349� County Residential Contract. The revision reflects the addition of another new client in the Directions in Community Living Developmental Disabilities program. (Approved) 5. Professional Services Agreement for Coordinator and Facilitator (Executive Director) Consultant on the Columbia Basin Ground Water Management Area between Grant County and Paul Stoker. Term is July i, 2oi2 to December gi, 2oi2. (Approved) 6. Professional Services Agreement for Legal Representation of Indigent Individuals in Grant County Superior Court (Adult Felony Only), Overflow/Conflicts Contractor between Grant County and David Kraft. The Commissioners approved and signed the Grant Public Works County Payroll Salary Fund for August 24, 2012. The motion passed unanimously. 2:go p.m. — 2:5o p.m. D Lee, Prosecuting Attorney's Office Update Pursuant to RCW 42.go.lio(i)(i) Commissioner Stevens called an Executive Session to order at 2:38 p.m. to go unti12:48 p.m. regarding Darryl Pheasant Potential Litigation. In attendance were Commissioners Stevens, Carter, and Swartz; and Lee Pence, Civil Deputy Attorney. Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding a request irom an employee of Grant Integrated Services — PARC, for an Extended Leave of Absence without pay due to a medical condition. The Director recommends approval not to exceed 90 days. (Appro�ed) 5. Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding a request from the Department of Community Development for an Exception to the Hiring Freeze to hire i Code Enforcement Officer/Fire Investigator due to a recent resignation of a Planner. Their request is to replace this position with a Code Enforcement Officer. The Director recommends approval. (Approved) 6. Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding a request from the SherifPs Office for an Exception to the Hiring Freeze to hire 1 Detective for the Major Crimes Unit. The Director recommends approval. (Approved) SHERIFF'� OFFICE �. Budget extension request in the amount of $i5,45o•0o to cover 2 months wages and benefits of a new Detective position for their Major Crimes Unit (needed if item 6 above is approved). (Approved, the public hearing was set for September �c�, 2012 at 10:0o a.m.) 8. Budget transfer request (from Small Tools to Small Tools greater than $550) in the amount of $i,i88.00 to purchase a floor buffer for their Work Release Center. (Approved) 9. (Approved) MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS After review, the Public Works Director recommends awarding the Neva Lalee Road Project to Tommer Construction Co, Inc. in the amount of $448�333•00. (Approved) The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign the Bowman Land Company, LLC (Bowman Short Plat) File #12-5697-oi Final Plat Submission and Review. As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $625,642.62, $530�509•47� and $153�964.87, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
