RESOLUTION GRANTING A 6 MONTH RESOLUTION No. 12- C� �7 Z--CC
EXTENSION TO THE NORTHLAND
CABL� TELEVISION FRANCHISE
WHEREAS, Grant County Ordinance / Resolution No. 02-100-CC dated June 25, 2002
granted a franchise to replace an existing franchise for Northland Cable Television, Inc., to
continue to operate and maintain a cable system in Grant County; and
WHEREAS, this franchise is set to expire at the end of June, 2012 pursuant to section 2.3 A
Duration and it is the desire of Grant County and Northland Cable to extend this franchise; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend the duration of the franchise for six (6) months, to
the end of December, 2012 in ordar to negotiate a renewal of the franchise; and
WHEREAS, all other sections of the franchise shall remain unchanged with the exception of
section 2.3 A Duration extending the expiration date through the end of December, 2012.
1�iOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County
Board of Commissioners extends the Northland Cable Franchise for 6 months in order to
enter into negotiations.
