IN THE MATTER OF DECLARING
SURPLUS AND SELLING A Resolution No. 2012-�3� -CC
MOBI�E HOME �oCATED AT 3675 FINDINGS AND DETERMINATIONS
ROAD 12.8 NW IN EPHRATA, WA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has the authority to sell real
property through RCW 36.34, and
WHEREAS, the real property is described as a 1995 Liberty Homes Inc., Model
KA147011 Mobile Home, Serial#06-L-26967, a single wide 14'x 66'mobile home with 924
square feet of living space, three bedrooms and two baths, forced air propane furnace and air
conditioning, 10' x 20' addition with deck, 8' x 10' storage shed, electric ineter base and power
panels, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the BOCC that it is in the best interest of the county and the
people thereof that said mobile home should be declared surplus and sold under the limitations
and restrictions and in the manner prescribed by law, and be removed from a 7.04 acre lot, Tax
Parcel No. 160905004 in NW Quarter of Section 33, T 21 N, R 26 EWNI within thirty(30) days
frorn the completion o#'the sale, and
WHEREAS, the County Road Engineer did publish notice of the BOCC's intention to
declare surplus and sell the described mobile home once each week during two successive weeks
in a legal newspaper o�general circulation in the county, and posted the notice in a conspicuous
place in the coui-thouse. Both posting and the date of first publication occurred at least ten days
before the day set for the hearing, and
WHEREAS, a hearing on the proposal to declare surplus and sell said mobile home
occurred in the BOCC's Hearing Room, located in the County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW,
Ephrat�, WA, at 2:00 P.M. on May 22, 2012, and all taxpayers in person or by counsel were
allowed to submit evidence and submit an argument, and the Gr�nt County Assessor did submit a
memo stiating the valuation of the mobile home to be $26,145.00, excluding well, foundation,
skirting, decks and miscellaneous setup costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, the BOCC finds that it is in the best interest
of the county and the people thereof that said mobile home belonging to the Grant County Public
Works Department is hereby declared surplus and directs the Grant County Treasurer to sell the
surplus real property under the limitations and restrictions and in the manner prescribed by l�w

and orders the Grant County Treasurer to deposit the receipts from the sale into the Grant County
Solid Waste Fund#401.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the BOCC hereby establishes the depreciated vahte of
said real pi•operty to be $1,500.00, excluding the well, foundation and utility costs and directs the
Grant County Treasurer to dispose of the surplus real property in a manner prescribed by law for
an amount not less than 2 500.00, and the purchaser of said real property shall remove the
mobile home and appurtenances from a 7.04 acre Tax Parcel No. 160905004 in NW Quarter of
Section 33, T 21 N, R 26 EWM within thirty(30) days followir�g completion of the sale.

Public Works purchased the 7 acre property anct mobile home at 3675 Road 12.8 NW, lying next to the
Landfill.
We plan on declaring the mobile home surplus, selling it, having it removed from the parcel.
It is a 1995 Liberty Homes, Model KA147011 single wide in fair condition.
Would you be willing to give me an appraised value of the mobile home?
