IN THE MATTER OF DECLARING
SURPLUS AND SELLING A MOBILE Resolution No, 2012- U��CC
HOME LOCATED AT 3675 ROAD 12.8 � NOTICE OF HEARING
N.W. IN EPHRATA, WA
WHEREAS,the Boai•d of County Commissioners(BOCC)has the authority to sell real and
personal property through RCW 36.34, and
WHEREAS,the real property is described as a 1995 Liberty Homes Inc.,Model KA147011
Mobile Home, Serial #O6-L-26967, a single wide 14' x 66' mobile horne with 924 square feet of
living space,three bedrooms and two baths,forced air propane furnace and air conditioning,and 10'
x 20' addition with deck, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the BOCC that it is in the best interests of Grant County and the
people thereof that said mobile home belonging to the county should be declared surplus and sold
under the limitations and restrictions and in the manner prescribed by law and removed from the
parcel of land upon which it is currently sited within thirty days from tha completion of the sale,and
WHEREAS, the BOCC desires to establish a minimum value of said real property.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,the hearing ontheproposal to declara surplus and
sell said mobile home shall occur in the BOCC's Hearing Room,located in the County Courthouse,
35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA, at 2:00 P.M., May 22, 2012, and any taxpayers in person or by
counsel will be allowed to appear and be heard, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the BOCC directs the County Road Engineer to publish
notice of the BOCC's intention to declare surplus and sell the described mobile home once each
week during two successive weeks in the legal newspaper of general circulation in the county, and
to post the notice in a conspicuous place in the courthouse and on the site itself. Both posting and
the date oFfirst publication must be at least ten days before the day set for the hearing.
