Commissioner Swartz was out and excused. 8:30 a.m,—9:00 a.m. Elected Official Roundtable Meeting 9:00 a.m.—9:20 a.m. J Strickler,ASC Update and Misc, BOCC Action A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter,to approve items 1, 2, 8 through 11, and 13 through 25 on the agenda as presented. Items 3 through 7 were not ready for signature and item 12 was previously signed. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in atfiendance. 1. Possible vouchers for Interfund Communications, insurance, legal services,grant administration, etc. (Approved) 2. Application for State Waste Discharge Permit to discharge Industrial Wastewater to a Publicly- Owned Treatment Works between Grant County, by and through the Grant County Fairgrounds, and the Washington State Department of Ecology, with an anticipated date of discharge of August 16, 2016. (Approved) 3. Anticipating: Professional Services Agreement for Legal Representation of Indigent Individuals in Grant County Superior Court (Adult Felony Only), Conflicts/Overflow Contractor, between Grant County and N. It has been held for the last 20 years the weekend before Fair. She has been unable to talk to anyone at the Fairgrounds so she decided to come in and speak to the Commissioners. The Commissioners stated they will speak to the Interim Fair Manager and get back to her. 11:00 a.m.—11:20 a.m. K Eslinger, Human Resources Update Items discussed were: Recruitment Training for GrIS;Accountant—Auditor's Office; 2016 Steps and COLA; Leadership Group—Comp Review; Personnel Policies Committee; GrIS Leadership Organization Structure; Emergency Management; and Assessor's Office. 11:30 a.m.—11:45 a.m. Consent Agenda (Items 1 through 6) A motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by Commissioner Carter,to approve items 1 through 6 on the agenda as presented.
