Professional Services Agreement, Conflict and Overflow Investigator, for investigative services to assist the Grant County Public Defense attorneys as they conduct indigent defense services, between Grant County and Jeff Wade of Citadel Training & Investigations. Professional Services Agreement for Legal Representation of Indigent Individuals in Grant County District Court, Full Time Contractors, between Grant County and Brett Hill. Professional Services Agreement, Conflict and Overflow Investigator for the retention of investigation services to assist the Grant County Public Defense department's defense of indigent individuals, between Grant Couniy and Carl Calhoun of Calhoun Investigative Services. (Approved) Memorandum of Agreement between Grant County and the Washington State University Cooperative Extension for the County's support of the Extension program, in the amount of $93�570.00. (Approved) Anticipating: 2oi2 Marketing/Development Contract between Grant County, by and through the Grant County Tourism Commission and Burke Marketing and Promotion (Bill Burke) to assist the County with the development and implementation of the Tourism Commissions tourism promotion plan. The Commissioners approved and signed the Grant Public Works County Payroll Salary Fund for December 16, 201�. Commissioner Carter was out and excused. 8:0o a.m. — i1:oo a.m. ii:15 a.m. — i1:25 a.m. ii:3o a.m. — i1:5o a.m R Stevens, Courthouse/Juvenile/Public Worlcs Union Negotiations D Nelson, Community Development New Building Review Open Record Public Hearing, Sheriffs Office Fee Increase for Civil Process and/or Services The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a request from the Sheriff's Office to increase their fees charged to the public for Civil Processes and/or services. Theresa Sheets of the Sheriff's Office stated that they have not increased their fees since Zoo5 and the current fees do not cover the cost to perform the service. It is an approximate 25% increase across the board. Commissioner Stevens moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing. Commissioner Swartz seconded and the motion passed with z Commissioners in attendance. Commissioner Stevens moved to approve fee increase as proposed by the SherifPs Office. Commissioner Swartz seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned. Consolidated Homeless Grant (CHG) Agreernent No. i2-461o8-io between the Washington State Department of Commerce and Grant County, in the amount of $3o4,6i2.00, to be administered through the Grant Couniy Housing Authority. Term is January i, 2012 through December g1, 2oig. Although the grant amount is $go4,6i2, Grantee is only authorized to spend 75� ($2z8,459•0o through June 30, 2oig). The remaining amount may not be spent without prior written approval from Commerce. (Approved) HUMAN RESOURCES �. Personnel Action Request for the salary, wage, and/or position changes for Stephen J. Kozer, Public Defense; and Royer DeChenne, Facilities and Maintenance. (Approved) 8. Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding a request from Grant Integrated for Gail Goodwin to carry over 40-48 hrs of annual leave into 2oi2; and Heather West to carry over 74 hrs of annual leave into 2012, over and above the 20o hrs allowed. (The Director recommended approval of 4o hours leave carry over for each employee per Grant County Policy. This recommendation was approved) GRANT INTEGRATED SERVICES 9.
