A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Stevens, to approve items 1

3. Request for release of funds on Strategic Infrastructure Project (SIP)
#2009-05, Columbia Basin Hospital Pharmacy/Electrical
Infrastructure Upgrade project approved via BOCC Resolution No.
09-o57-CC. Payment will be in the amount of a$i4o,000.0o grant
and a $60,000.00 loan. (Approved)
4. BOCC Chair signature on Grant County Board of County
Commissioners Administrative Policy No.1x-o1, Safety/Security,
which will become effective January g, 2oiz. (Approved)
5. Professional Services Agreement for the Shoreline Master Program
Update between Grant County and Anchor QEA. (Approved, the
Clerk of the Board called Commissioner Swartz to get her
stamped signature on page 4)
6. Employment Contract, Director of Public Defense, between Grant

and $88.06, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.

Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding a request
from the Sheriff's Office for an exception to the hiring freeze to hire a
provisional deputy into a full time Deputy position; and to
temporarily fill a vacant Deputy position. The Director recommends
approval. (Approved)
Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding a request
from the Prosecuting Attorney's Office to amend the 2010 adopted
salary schedule for their Deputy Prosecutors. The Director does not
recommend approval. (Approved HR recommendation to deny
request)
Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding a request
from District Court for an exception to the hiring freeze to hire one
Deputy Clerle II due to a recent resignation. The Director
recommends approval. (Approved)

The Commissioners approved a Personnel Action Request Recommendation to initiate the County sick
leave donation policy for a Juvenile Court and Youth Services employee, Recipient 11-02, who suffers
from an illness which is extraordinary in nature. This is the znd request for this employee.
