MISCELLANEOUS ITEM FOR OCTOBER 24, 2011 Anticipating BOCC action on an Agreement Regarding Use of County Property between Grant County and Elegy West, LLC, to permit Elegy West to hold, conduct or otherwise stage film and/or photographic project and/or event on Grant County parcel Nos. i�oo8200o and i�oo82001, more commonly known as Grant County's portion of the Moses Lake Sand Dunes, on November 2 and gl•a, 2oii." I2ue to the urgency of this agreemeait, each Commissioner has been provided a copy via email for their rreview. The Clerk of the Board will then call each Commissioner on October 24, 2oii for their vote. October 25, 2oii — the Clerk of the Board receiued verbal approval to stamp Commissioners ,�wartz and Carter signatures to this agreemento Commissioners Swartz and Carter authorized the Clerlc of the Board to stamp their signature to those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.2q.o8o, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW a2.24.c�9o, in the ��not�nt of $335�932•47� as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. Grant County Request for Reimbursement No. 3 on CDBG Public Services Grant No. 1i-64ioo-oo2 with the Department of Commerce and administered through the OIC of Washington in the amount of $14�647.89. Washington State Department of Commerce Community Services and Housing Division, Office of Crime Victims Advocacy, Grant Application, STOP grant is for the purpose of supporting coordinated responses to adult or teen victirns of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stallung crimes. L-5 Form from the Public Disclosure Commission for Jim Potts lobbying services, in the amount of $3,150.00. (Approved) HUMAN RESOURCES 6. Request for approval the 2oi2 — 2oi3 — 2oi4 Grant County Holiday's observed. (Approved) 7. Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding a request from New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services to create 1-new Grant Funded position: A Full Time Law Enforcement Coordinator. The Director recommends approval. (Approved) COMMISSIONERS' OCTOBER 24, 2oii MINUTES Page 3 of 4 GRANT INTEGRATED SERVICES : F1 REVISED request that was listed on the October i1, 2oii Consent Agenda requesting a new banle revolving account for a grant received from the Gates Foundation. After further review, it was determined that a new fund was not needed. GrIS is now requesting to increase their existing Crisis Response revolving fund (128000) from $750.00 to $5,000.00, This increase is funded by a grant from the Gates Foundation and to be used to for emergency situations involving victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. (Approved) 2nd review of itern listed on the October 4, 2011 Consent Agenda to consider reversing a 2003 decision to not a11ow an employee of one County department or office to sit on the advisory board of another County department or office. This item is being held a second time for further review and was given to Human Resources to get input and recommendation. FAIRGROUNDS io. Request for operating transfer in the amount of $io8,246.0o to cover expense vouchers and payroll liability. (Approved) ii. After receiving 4 quotes, the Director requests to purchase 40 - Light Fixtures for their new Noble Horse Stalls from Platt Electric in the amount of $z,542.�2.
