WHEREAS, Ch�pter 39.34 I2CW, the Tntcrlocal Cooperation Act, per�nits Iocal gavermnental
entities to malce the most ef�cient use of their powers by enabling the�n to cooperate with other localitias
on a,basis of mutual advantage, for the purpases ofprc�viding services az�d facilities ir1 a mannar and
pursuant ta forn�s af goveri�nental arganizatian that will accord best with geagraphic,ecaiaarnic,
papulation and other factors influencizlg the needs and develo�ment of local commu�aities; and
WHEREAS,Grant County,Washington,a politica] sUbdivisia��and the Tovvn of Wilson Creek
are vested with authoriry to enter into an interlacal agreeme�t pursuant to chapter 39.34 RCV'V; alid
WHEREAS, it is the desire af Grant County aild the Town af Wilson Creelc to ellter inta an
ix�terlocal agreement for tlle purpose of e�aabling the County,by and tlirougl�its Department of Building&
Fire Marshal Office,ta furnish the adnlinistration and en�orcement scrvices required to carry out the
purpose of the State Buildin�Code Act.
