Citizen Public Cornment Period
Phill'zp Zellweger catne to discuss his praperty on Williams Lake and the area surraunding it. He
is having trouble wifih citizens leaving garbage an his praperty when they are fishing on the lake.
Fish and Game gave him signs stating "da not litter" but this has not helped. Also, night traffic
has became a�rablem. Cars are driving throttgh with their headlights off durnping garbage. He
realizes they are aut in the middle of nowhere and tliings like this are going to happen but he is
loolcing for help because it is getting worse.

Fish and Wildlife stated his lake is not on the list of "no night fishing" lakes. It is not a
campground and he frequently has to run off carnpers on his private property. He is very
concerned with campfires also. The Commissioners stated Dennis Beich from Fish and Wildlife
will be here this afternoon and they will address this issue with him; also with Public Worles.

The Commissioners approved and signed the Grant Public Works County Payroll Salary Fund for May 20,

The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign the Richard and Patsy Rex (Rex Short Plat) File #10-5520
Final Plat Submission and Review.
As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $go8,8gi.99 and $i52�989•58� as
recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.

The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing regarding a budget extension request
from the Sheriff's Office in the amount of $5,000.0o to receive private donations that will cover
the expense of Sheriff Jones, Honor Guard Deputies Cox and Gregg, and Deputy Brandon
Bernard to escort Deputy John Bernard's farnily to Washington D.C. to attend the 2oii National
Law Enforcernent Memorial. Commissioner Stevens moved to close the public comment portion
of the hearing. Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
