RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION No. 15- ��1�-CC
CREATING A GRANT COUleTTY
CENTRAL SERVICES DEPAIZTMENT
WHEREAS, Grant County provides Facilities and Maintenance services, Technology
services and Interfund Communication services; and
WH�REAS, these services heretofore have been provided independently under the direction
of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC); and
WHEREAS,these collective services can be effectively and efficiently managed as a
separately managed department; and, Chapter 36.92 RCW provides authority to counties to establish
central services departments for the purpose consolidating the direct oversite of the services outlined
above.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the Central Service department be created
with responsibilities over the Facilities and Maintenance department, Technology Setvices
department and Interfund Communication services throughout the county. This department shall be
authorized as a central services department per RCW: Chapter 36.92,with all duties and
responsibilities contained therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Director of the newly formed Central Services
department shall be appointed by the BOCC and service as director of the department in accordance
with Chapter 36.92 RCW; and,that a Central Services Fund be created to track and account for all
resources received and disbursements made by the Central Services department.
