RESOLUTION AUTHOItIZING EXECUTION RESOLUTION No. 15- -CC
OF INTERLOCAL AGItEEM�NT BETWEEN
GRANT COUNTY AND THE NATIONAL
JOINT POW�RS ALLIANCE '
WHEREAS, Chapter 39.34 RCW,the Interlocal Cooperation Act, permits local governmenta]
entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate with other localities
on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and facilities in a manner and '
pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best with geographic, economic, �
population and other factors influencing the needs and development of local communities; and ;

WH�REAS, Grant County, Washington, a political subdivision, and the National Joint Powers i
Alliance of Minnesota, a Minnesota Service Cooperative, (hereafter NJPA) are vested witll atrthority to I
enter into an interlocal agreement pursuant to chapter 3934 RCW and Minnesota Statute § 123A.21; and �
W�-IEREAS, Grant County is authorized to utilize contracts competitively solicited by the NJPA ,
and enter into a"Joint Exercise of Powers of Agreement" for the purpose of accessing available contracts
for goods and services from NJPA Awarded Vendors;
NOW,TH�REFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the National Joint Powers Alliance Joint
Powers Agreement, aka Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement, between Grant County and the NJPA be �
executed by and between the aforementioned parties. �
