HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - BOCC MINUTES GRANT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9,2015 The Grant County Commissioners session began at 8:30 a.m, with all Commissioners in attendance, 9:00 a.m.—9:30 a.m. ASC Update and Misc, BOCC Action and Grants Admin/SIP/Economic Rural Enhancement/Insurance Budget Meeting A motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by Commissioner Carter,to approve items 1, 3, 4 and 6 on the agenda as presentec�. Items 2 and 5 did not arrive for signature. The motion passed unanimously. 1. Possible vouchers for Interfund Communications, insurance, legal services,grant administration, etc. (Approved) 2. Anticipating: Rental Agreement(Residential Premises) Grant County, Grant Integrated Services' New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services (Emergency Shelter Renewal). (Did not arrive for signature) 3. Contract Agreement No. 15MH1835, Merrtal Health Services Program, between Grant County, by and through Grant Integrated Services, and Spokane County,through the Spokane Regional Support Network(SCRSN), a Division of Spokane County Community Services, Housing, and Community Development Department. The term is October 1, 2015 through March 31, 2016 with funds in the amount of$3,900,162.00, (Approved) 4. Lease Agreement, Commercial Premises, between Grant County, by and through Grant Integrated Services, and Pablo and Elsa Cedillo for the premises located at 130 Camela Street, Royal City, Washington 99357, described as one-half(more or less) of the structure currently standing and maintained at the address. Term is February 1, 2016 through January 31, 2019 with monthly lease payments in the amount of$850.00. A provision exists for rent renegotiation by the end of January 31, 2017 and January 31, 2018 upon at least sixty(60) days' written notice. (Approved) 5. Anticipating: Special Counsel Contract between Grant County and Menke Jackson Beyer, LLN,to perform and render legal assistance and counsel regarding labor law,employment law, and personnel matters, and such other matters and proceedings as directed by the Board of County Commissioners,the Human Resources Director,and/or Prosecuting Attorney. Term is January 9., 2016 through December 31, 2017. (IVot ready for signature) 6. Grant County Payment Request#22 to Washington State Department of Commerce on Consolidated Homeless Grant (CHG) No, 14-46108-10, administered through the Grant County Housing Authority, in the amount of$47,755.73. Request to amend the current Open Riding Schedule and associated fee. The Director recommends allowing Open Riding from November 18, 2015-February 21, 2016,Wednesday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m.—4:30 p.m., and no longer charge a cost for the use, (Approved) AUDITOR'S OFFICE—ACCOUNI'ING DEPARTMENT 7. Budget extension request in the amount of$30,000.00 to th�Veteran's Assistance fund for housing assistance, supplies, and utilities for Veterans in Grant County. Funding will come from Veterans Assistance reserve funds.
