Possible vouchers for Interfund Communications, insurance, legal services,grant administration, etc. (Approved) 2. Amendment 01 to Washington State Departmen�of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Contract #1563-43725,for CD Treatment,which reduces the grant by$122,310.00 for a new total maximum contract amount of$427,909.00. This is administered through Grant Integrated Services, Prevention and Recovery Center(PARC). (Approved) Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) Commissioner Stevens called an Executive Session to order at 9:47 a.m. to go until 10:02 a.m. to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation. In attendance were Commissioners Stevens, Carter, Swartz, Franl<Andrus, Assistant Claims Director,June Stricl<ler,Administrative Services Coordinator, and Mick McFarland, Legal Counsel (via conference call). WM Winkler $191,964.99 2, Tommer Construction $161,078,00 3. Advanced Excavation $115,430.00 4. North Central Construction $166,666.66 A motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by Commissioner Carter, to turn the bids over to Public Works for their review and recommendation. Consent Agenda (Items 1 through 12) A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Swartz,to approve items 1 through 5, and 7 through 12 on the Consent Agenda as presented. Item 6 was held for further discussion. The motion passed unanimously. COMMISSIONERS OFFICE 1. Commissioner's Office and Public Defense Vouchers. (Approved) 2. Commissioners September 7, 2015 Minutes for approval. (Approved) 3. Special occasion liquor license applications for 9=��f�aaa-������^� o^�^�+ potholes Ducks Unlimited, 6965 EI Camino St SE, Othello,WA; and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2622, 1517 W Broadway, Moses Lal<e,WA 98837,from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Control Board. (Approved) BUILDING AND FIRE DEPARTMENT 4, Recommendation to lift the burn ban that was instituted June 2015, and to be effective October 1, 2015. (Approved) DISTRICT COURT 5. Request for second probation officer position, based on current increased caseload and additional proposed increase requested by the Prosecutor's Office. (Approved) HUMAN RESOURCES 6, Recommendation Memo to change the reporting of the HR Specialist at Grant Inte�rated Services to report directly to the Human Resources Director. This position currently reports to the GrIS Chief Operating Officer. (It�m placed on hold) 7. Recommendation Memorandum from the Human Resources Director to initiate the county sick leave donation policy for a Public Works employee, Recipient 15-02,who suffers from an illness which is extraordinary in nature.The Director recommends approval. (Approved;the recipient is Jeff Wyman who asked for his name to be released.) 8. Recommendation Memorandum from the Human Resources Director to initiate the County sick leave donation policy for a Public Works employee, Recipient 15-03,who suffers from an illness which is extraordinary in nature. The Director recommends approval. (Approved) 9. Recommendation Memorandum regarding a request from Grant Integrated Services for a compensation review for their Employment Connections Coordinator,from band 12 to a band 15. Recommendation Memorandum regarding a request from Grant Integrated Services for a compensation review for their Facility and Safety Coordinator position, from band 9 to a band 15. The Director does not recommend approval but recommends, if the Board should approve this request, that they approve a 46% increase to the banding and that it be recruited competitively, (The�oard approved the recommendation to make no changes to this position, uniess GrIS recruits competitively) CENTRAL SERVICES 11. Request for permission to pay Chandler Business Interiors the 50% required deposit for the furniture in the Commissioner's new office.The deposit amount is $20,363.85. (Approved) 12. Request for approval to pay 4th and final payment to M.C. Construction for the new storage building in the amount of$21,052.05.
