Contract term is January i, 2010 through December 3i, 2oli. 5. 2oio Professional Services Agreement, Interpreter, between Grant County and Saul C. Castillo dba The Interpreter, a Washington State Bilingual (Spanish/English) Court Certified Interpreter. 6. Anticipating BOCC review/action on Washington State Association of Counties Financial Services Corporation's County Inmate Program administration change from Zenith Administration to Gallagher Benefit Services; i.e., Proposal for Claims Administration Management and/or Inmate Excess Medical Insurance. �. 2oio Spirituous Liquor Agreement between Grant County and the Grant County Sheriff's Office and Aramarlc Entertainment, Inc, and Live Nation, Inc. Term of the agreement is upon BOCC signature and shall terminate December 3i, zo1o. 8. 2010 Agreement, Concert Management/Development between Grant County and Live Nation Worldwide, Inc, Term of the agreement is Januaiy 1, 2010 through December g1, 2oio. 9. BOCC Chair signature on North Columbia Community Action Council Request #i2 on CTED Homeless Grant Assistance Program grant, Contract #o8-46io8-So1 in the amount of $26,414.11. COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION A motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by Commissioner Stevens, to approve item i on the Worlc Session agenda. The motion passed unanimously. OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING FAIRGROUNDS CURRENT EXPENSE TOURISM AND YEAR END BUDGET EXTEliTSIONS The Cornmissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing for the following budget extensions: 3• 4• 5• 6. 7• 8. Residential Fund #12516� $g18,851.00 New Hope Fund #i28i�o $57�843•00 Bond Construction Fund #go3000 $2,�00,000.00 Grant County Tourism Commission Fund #1i4, Department #i56 in the arnount of $4,000.0o to cover Centennial Celebration expenses; Fairgrounds in the amount of $133�034•0o to cover end of the year expenses such as wages, insurance, professional services, equipment rental, and utilities; Current Expense fund in the amount of $65,000.0o as an operating transfer out from beginning fund balance to the Fairgrounds budget. Commissioner Stevens moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing, Commissioner Swartz seconded and the motion passed with all Commissioners in attendance. (Resolution No. 09-116-CC) J STRICKLER, ASC UPDATE AND MISC BOCC ACTION A motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by Commissioner Stevens, to approve items i through g on the ASC Agenda. The motion passed unanimously. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those �vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $169,o8g.iz and $33�453•59� as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. The Commissioners approved and signed a building permit application for a manufactured home for the Marlin Hutterian Brethren. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until December 29, 2000. CONSENT AGENDA Commissioner Swartz moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed unanimously, as presented below: COMMISSIONERS' OFFICE: Commissioners Office Vouchers Cancellation request / Bond Policy Release for Jerry Jasman, former County Coroner. Letter of appointment for Gail Huntley to the North Central Regional Library. FAIRGROUNDS Authorization to call for bids, Grant County Fairgrounds — Pavilion #2, Moses Lalce, WA. The bid opening was set for January 19, 2010 at g:oo p.m. HUMANRESOURCES Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding Superior Courts request to review the Court Administrator position. The HR Director recommends re-banding from Band 9 to a Band 1g. The HR Director recommends re-banding from a Band 4 to a Band 9. After further review and discussion, this recommendation was revised to re-band this position to Band 4, Step 2. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until January 4, 2010.
