RESOLUTION INCR�ASING THE
ASSESSMENT RAT� FOR TURNK�Y
LIGHTING DISTRICT I+OR 2010 TO $24.00
PER PARCEL
and
RESOLUTION No. 09- �p�C
WHEREAS, Resolution 02-193-CC approved the formation of the Turnkey Lighting District;
WHEREAS, the Order set forth that the amount of the annual assessment for the LID was to be
determined by Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 04-006-CC set the assessment rate for 2004 at $30.00 per parcel; and in
2005 a public hearing was held and the rate was further decreased to $20.00 for 2005; and
WHEREAS, the current assessment of $20.00 per taxable parcel has been deemed by the Grant
County Treasurer as insuf�cient to cover 2010 payments; and
WHEREAS, the Treasm•er has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners to increase
the 2010 tax assessment from $20.00 per parcel to $24.00 per parcel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ItESOLVED THAT the Grant County Treasurer
use these figures for the assessment rate in all future assessment rolls of RID No. 02-1 until further
order of the Board.
