RESOLUTION SETTING LAND CLASSIFICATION RESOLUTION No. 09- �(� �-CC
AND ASSESSMENTS FOR FUNDING THE 2010
BUDGET OF THE GRANT COUNTY NOXIOUS
WEED BOARD
WHEREAS, The Grant County Noxious Weed Control Board has requested the Board of
County Commissioners to determine the assessments for funding the 2010 budget of the Grant
County Noxious Weed Control Board; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on November 23, 2009 at 9:15 am in the County
Commissioners Hearing Room at which tima taxpayers were allowed to appear and be heard; and
WHEREAS, after discussion a decision was made by the Commissioners to set the land
classi�cations and assessments as follows:
Irrigated Cropland 20 cents per acre
Dryland 06 cents per acre
Range/Scabland 03 cents per acre
Minimum Parcels $8.00 par parcel
WHEREAS, the Board fnds that the control of weeds is a special benefit to the lands within
the district and the special benefits provided by the Weed District and the Weed District assessment
above stated is a special benefit to the land within the District set forth in the assessment and that
they should be levied,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the above assessments shall be
levied on the above classi�cation and the Assessor shall spread the levy on the rolls and collect the
same.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ���'�day of � 009.
EFFECTIVE the lst day of January, 2010.
