RESOLUTION No. 09- �� -CC
WHEREAS, the Grant County Department of Emergency Management does not have an
adequate level of budget appropriation to make all necessary expenditures:
l. Fund #001, Department #142 and Fund #102, Department #144 in the amount of
$4,736.23 to move their current telephone system to their new facility and add
one additional line;
2. Fund #102, Department #144 in the amount of $4,950.00 to purchase 40
barricades using grant funds from the Washington State Emergency
Management and the US Department of Energy-Richland (FFY09 contract E09-
077)
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing
the 2009 budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of October at 2:00 p.m., a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB�' RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMIVIISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of $9,686.23 to be allocated to the 2009 budget
according to the following schedule of categories and items:
