Request from Facilities and Maintenance to use REET funds in the amount of $1,5io.6o to replace the vents and 2 drains on the Courthouse roof. 2. Budget Extension request from the Sheriffs Office in the amount of $24,736.0o to cover the costs of wages, benefits, equipment and travel for two corrections officers through the end of 2oog using grant funds from the Department of Justice. 3. Budget Extension request from Technology Services in the amount of $io2,623.0o to cover the cost of a new TS technician for the Sheriffs Office using grant funds from the "Data Driven Crime Prevention" U.S. Department of Justice. 4. New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services addendum to residential rental agreement. 5. Unfair Labor Practice Settlement Agreement between Grant County and the Grant County Public Employees' Association for the purposes o£ resolving any and all issues arising out of PERC Case No. 224o�-U-o9-571�. BOCC review/action on request to authorize Sam Lorenz, Director of Grant County Emergency Management, to sign the Washington State Military Department's Mitigation Grant Agreement Face Sheet, Grant No. E10-o29; Agreement is between Grant County Emergency Management and the Washington State Military Department and the Federal Emergency Management Agency for the Grant County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update. Total Project Amount: $50,000.00, with $6,250.00 (i2.5%) from Grant County to match $6,250.00 (12.5%) from the Washington State Military Department. Commissioner Swartz was out and excused. COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter, to approve items i through 5 on the Work Session agenda. Item 3 had a supplemental request for a request to the hiring freeze to hire a new Help Desk position. The Commissioners tabled this request for further budget review. Items 2 and g, the budget extension hearing was set for November 9, 2009 at 2:0o p.m. The motion passed unanimously. J STRICKLER, ASC UPDATE AND MISC BOCC ACTION A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter, to approve item 1 on the ASC Agenda as presented above. The motion passed unanimously. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $585�965.0� and $40,988.16, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers as presented by the Grant County Health District: Payroll Vouchers No.1— 7, and General Fund Vouchers No. 8— 6z, in the amount of $i57,150.83; as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval No. io-i through No. 10-14� in the total amount of $i,315,685.32, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. The Commissioners approved and signed the October 9, 2009 Payroll Picic-up Sheet. The Commissioners approved and signed the May i8 and 25, 2009 Minutes. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until October ig, 2009. D POHLE, PUBLIC WORILS UPDATE The Commissioners approved the recommended changes to the motor pool/rental rate costs; and the equipment/rental rate costs as presented by the Public Works Accountant. CON�ENT AGENDA Commissioner Stevens moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance, as presented below: COMMISSIONERS' OFFICE: Commissioners Office Vouchers Chairperson Cindy Carter designated herself to serve as the County Legislative Authority on the Canvassing Board for the Election to be held on November 3, 2009; and signed an Authorization of Canvassing Board Representatives - Auditor's Staff, to act under authority given in RCW 29A.6o for Shannon Falstad, Laure Buchannan, Sue Ramalcer, Kim Husted and Trisha Olson to act as representatives for the County. GIZANT INTEGRATED SERVICES Community Mental Health Services Mental Health Block Grant Agreement between North Central Washington Regional Support Network (NCWRSN) and Grant County (No. 1003) effective October 1, 2oog through September go, 2oio. Request from Jalane Christian-Stoker, Executive Director, to allow Finance Director Bernie Warren to sign Vouchers, Payroll, A-19's, Purchase Orders, and signature accounts pertaining to Grant Mental Healthcare, New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services, Directions in Community Living, and PARC.
