WHEREAS, the (�r-ant County Sheriff's Office does not have an adequate level of
budget appropriation to make all necessary expenditures:
1. Fund #109, Department #151 in the amount of $1,165.00 to purchase a
Tonneau Cover for one of their INET vehicles. Funding comes from their
INET Suspense Account.
2. Fund #001, Department #114 in the amount of $13,182.00 to purchase Office
and Operating Supplies and Small Tools using an Edward Byrne Memorial
Justice Assistance Grant FY2009 Local Solicitation.
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing
the 2009 budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of September at 11:30 a.m., a public hearing was held in
the Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
l�OW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE �OARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of $14,347.00 to be allocated to the 2009 budget
according to the following schedule of categories and items:
