RESOLUTION No. 09- D�I �CC
WHEREAS, the following Grant County Departments/OFfices do not have an adequate
level of bud�et appropriation to make all necessary expenditures:
1. Public Records Fund #001, Department #101 in the amounts of $29,904.00 and
$12,123.00. Two grants were received from the Washington Secretary of State
to scan and archive the records of the Board of County Commissioners and
Public Works.
2. Sheriff's Office Fund #001, Department #114 in the amount of $95,096.00 for a
reimbursement grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce.
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing
the 2009 budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of September at 9:30 am, a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOVV, THEREFORE, BE IT H�REBY R�SOLV�D BY T�IE BOA1�D OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUI�ITY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of $137,123.00 to be allocated to the 2009 budget
according to the following schedule of categories and items:
