COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION Commissioner Stevens moved to approve the worlc session items i and 2 as listed above. It was determined that is no action to be talcen on item 3. Commissioner Swartz seconded the motion passed unanimously. P STOKEIZ. HYDROLOGIC MODELING PROJECT Paul Stoker informed the Board that the Ground Water Management Area (GWMA) Committee is cancelling the contract between Grant County and SC Communications (Scott Cave) effective April i, zoo9. Mr. Stoker also advised the Board that his contract will also be terminated effective June 30, 2oog. MISCELLAIVEOUS ITEIVIS As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers as presented by the Grant Cotinty Health District: Payroll Vouchers No. i— 5, and General Fund Vouchers No. 6— �2, in the amount of $i59�1x9•25� as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. The Commissioners signed the Grant County Payroll Picic-Up Sheet for May io, 2009. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until May 12, 2009. The Commissioners approved the recommendation of the Director to award the Rd L-NE overlay project to Central Washington Asphalt, Inc. in the amount of $509,792.00. BID OPENING. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARIleTG, DISTRICT COURT BUDGET EXTENSIOIV The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing in regards to a budget extension request from District Court in the amount of $10,000.0o to receive grant funds from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission to be used on travel, equipment, and goods and services. Commissioner Swartz moved to close public comment poi�tion of the hearing, Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Stevens moved to adopt the budget extension as presented, Commissioner Swartz seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned.
