As of this date, tl�e Board, by a majority vote, does apprave for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by KGW 42.24.a8o, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $5�4�39 and 577,oro.i4, as recarded on a listing and rnade available to the Board. The Commissioners appraved and sign:ed a letter to the Washington State Liqitor Control Board stating that they had no concerns with the Calumbia Basin Rodea Association Wine Tasting(Sales event during the Northwest Reining Horse �how to be held at the �airgrounds on May g, 2009. OPEliT RECORD PUSLIC HEARING, SHERIFF'S OFFICE BUDGET EXTENSIOIV The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing in regards to a budget extension request from the Sheriff's Office in the amount of $g,7o8.0o from the INET suspense account to their small tools account. This is to purchase a new Motorola XTL 250o radio for their INET vehicle. Commissioner Swartz moved to close public comment portion o£ the hearing, Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. Cornrnissioner Swartz moved to adopt the budget extension as presented, Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned. PUBLIC WORK,S UPDATE The Commissioners approved and signed a Request to the County Road Department for Reimbursable Work between Grant County and the City of Soap Lake for chip seal of Rd 20.9. The Commissioners approved and signed a contract between Grant County and Tommer Cosntruction for the Rd D-SE Project. The Commissioners approved the recommendation to award the Air Compressor tvith Trailer to Volvo Construction Equipment and Services in the amount of $i7,993•40; the Rd M-NE Road Reconstruction COMMISSIONERS' APRIL 2�, �oog MIllTUTES Page g of 5 project to Copenhaver Construction, Inc. in the amount of $239>877•00; and the Bouldercrest Road Extension to Copenhaver Construction, Inc. in the amount of $303�695•30• OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARIlOTG PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING CI� �1 04 035 OF THE GRANT COUNTY CODE RELATING TO COUN'1'Y ROAD SPEED LIMIT� The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing in regards to a proposed Ordinance/Resolution Modifying Ch. ii.o4 of the GCC Entitled "Maximum Speed Limits". Derelc Pohle, Public Works Director recommends these proposed changes. Commissioner Stevens moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing, Comxnissioner Swartz seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Stevens moved to approve the proposed Ordinance amending certain speed limits in the county, Commissioner Swartz seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned. HUMAN RESO URCES Personnel Action Request for the salary, wage, and/or position changes for pouglas R. Mitchell, Prosecuting Attorney's Office; and Susann Fowler, Grant Mental Healthcare GIZANT MENTAL H.F.ALTHCARE Exhibit B, Revision #4 between Grant County, Directions in Community Living, and the State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services to change from State only funding to Core Waiver funding for a client. ASSESSOR'S OFFICE Resolution No. o9-o4i-CC in the matter of executing Enterprise License Agreement No. 20343515 (E214 6/o8B) between Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. and Grant County for the acquisition and use of selected software, data, documentation, technical support, maintenance, and training, as well as the execution of an Interlocal Agreement with Public Service Taxing Districts for the use of the software covered under Enterprise License Agreement No. 20343515 (E214 6/o8B). MI�SCELLANEOUS ITEMS The Commissioners approved and signed the Public Worlcs payroll journal for April, 2oog. The Commissioners signed the Public Worlcs Claims Fund Voucher Approval No. o4-i through No. 04-87 in the total amount of $668,8��.06, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amount of $78o,g79.i5 as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. The Commissioners re- appointed A1 Brower to the Boundary Review Board. The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign an application for Funding between New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services and the Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development Office of Crime Victims Advocacy for a Domestic Violence Legal Advocacy Grant. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until May 4, 2009.
