RESOLUTION No. 09- Q ��-CC
WHEREAS, the following Grant County Departments/Offices do not have an adequate
level of budget appropriation to malce all necessary expenditures:
1. Sheriff's Office Fund #001, Department #114 in the amount of $13,000.00 to receive a
grant from the Washington Traf�c Safety Commission for reimbursable overtime;
2. Sheriff's Office Fund #001, Department #114 in the amount of $41,023.07 to cover
expenses from their 2008 budget;
3. Jail Fund in the amount of $7,890.19 to cover expenses from their 2008 budget;
4. Coroners Oft"ice in the amount of $4,857.43 to cover expenses from their 2008 budget.
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing
the 2009 budget; and
WHEI�EAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the lOth day of February at 9:30 am, a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHIl�1GTOl�i, that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of $66,770.69 to be allocated to the 2009 budget
according to the following schedule of categories and items:
