The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. 1. Recommendation to award the quote for the "supply and placement of Hot Mix Asphalt at Ephrata Landfill to Central Washington Asphalt In the amount of$27,190,80. (Approved) 2. Quit Claim Deed (access only)to the Washington State Department of Transportation from Grant County to access Grant County Road Right of Way in a portion of the NE%of the NW% of S 9,T 19 N, R 28 E,WM (Parcel Nos. �^'��-, ��o amended to 170195000, 170273000, 170244000, and 170243000). (Approved) 3. Resolution No. 15-046-CC Notice of Hearing declaring certain county-owned property surplus and ordering the sale thereof. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. COMMISSIONERS OFFIGE 1. Commissioners Office and Public Defense Vouchers for approval, (Approved) 2. 3-Special occasion liquor license application for the Columbia Basin Rodeo Association, PO Box 367, Moses Lake, WA 98837,from the Washington State Liquor Control Board. The events will be held at the Grant County Fairgrounds during the Fair. (Approved) CENTRAL SERVICES 3. State of Washington Department of Enterprise Services Authorization No. 2014-994 A(1) /�mendment No. 2 for the De�tailed Investment Grade Energy Audit and Energy Services Proposal in the amount of$14,028.00 for design services at the Courthouse and Annex 3rd floor upgrades. (Approved) 4. Recommendation to award the Request for Qualification RFQ for�he Building and Leveling Project(Juvenile Court and Youth Services facility)to MJ Takisaki from Spokane,WA, (Approved) TREASURER'S OFFICE 5. Pursuant to RCW 54.28.090, request to distribute the PUD Privilege Tax funds received in the amount of$2,476,357.58 as provided on a listing by the Treasurer. I , Page 3 of 5 Grant County Commissioners Minutes Week of July 6, 2015 ; 4:30 p.m,—4;40 p.m. Open Record Public Hearing, Sheriff's Office and Miscellaneous General Government/Legal Services Budget Extensions The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider the following budget extension requests: 1. Sheriff's Office Fund#001, Department#115 in the amount of$44,000.00 to pay the Tail Insurance for�the Ephrata Medical Center, who performed medical services at the Jail/Work Release facilities and Juvenile Court and Youth Services; 2. Misc. General Government/Special Legal Services Fund #001, Department#125 in the amount of$50,000.00 to cover the costs of active litigation cases. Joe Kriete discussed the Tail Insurance to be paid and stated this is a common costs associated with this type of insurance. Jacob Taylor discussed the Miscellaneous General Government extension. Commissioner Carter moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. Commissioner Carter moved to approve the ordinance as presented. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2 ' Commissioners in attendance, The hearing adjourned. (Approved, Resolution No. 15-048-CC) MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS The Chair of the Board was authnrized to sign the Health District Voucher listing in the amount of $8,880.98. As of this date,the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amount of$34,722.67, $233,00, and $242,793.26, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board..
