The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:0o a.m. with all the Commissioners in
attendance with the Clerlc of the Board.
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
The Commissioners signed and approved the June go through July 2i, 2008 Minutes.
The Commissioners signed the December, 2008 Public Works Payroll Journal.
The Commissioners signed and approved the 2009 Agreement Concert Management/Development and
the 2009 Spirituous Liquor Agreement between Grant County, the Sheriffs Office, and Live Nation.
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign the Arturo Guerrexo (Guerrero Short Plat) File #06-4445-
02, Final Plat Submission and Review.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until December go,
2008.

The Commissioners signed and approved items 1, 2, and 4 as listed above.
The Commissioner did not receive item g for action.
OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING, YEAR END BUDGET EXTENSIONS
The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a budget extension to cover
unforeseen expenses in numerous Grant County funds totaling $2,846, ,00.00. A large part of this is for
the bond for the fairgrounds upgrade. Commissioner Carter moved to close the public comment portion of
the hearing. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in
attendance. Commissioner Carter moved to approve the budget extensions as presented, Commissioner
Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned.

Commissioner Carter moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Commissioner Allison seconded and the
motion passed with unanimously, as presented below:

Commissioners Office Vouchers
Resolution in the matter of Grant County Fire Protection District No. i2 and the Town of Wilson
Creek. The Town is requesting to be annexed to and be part of the Fire District and aslcs the
County Auditor to call and conduct a special election and submit the proposition to the voters.

Letter granting Jim Thompson of the Grant County Mosquito Control District #1 use of airspace
over Grant County during zoo9, within the boundaries of District # i, for the purpose of mosquito
abatement.

Commercial Lease Agreement between Grant County and Robert W. and Barbara S. Valentine to

Personnel Action Requests for the salary, wage, and/or position changes for Gail Sundean,
Prosecuting Attorney's Office; Joyce Harmon, Assessor's Office; Tonya Earley and Keith Weber,
Jail; Earl Romig, Sheriff's Office; and Cecilia Arias, Katie Ogle, and Gricelda Ohrazda, District
Court.

Supplemental Lease Agreement #i (No. PN-UCAO-EPH-o5o8-001) between the United States
Department of the Interior and Grant County for the lease of office space to the Planning
Department in the Bureau Building.

Request from Steve Scott to carry over 4 annual leave days into 2009.
Request from Steve Hallstrom to carry over 4 annual leave days into 2009.
Soth of these requests are being held for further review from Human Resources
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $261,8�8.59 and $202,020.�2, as
recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign a United Way of Grant County — Funding Application
Checklist for New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Service.
The Commissioners signed the Public Worles Claims Fund Voucher Approval No. 12-i through No. 12-84 in the
total amount of $385�3$2•39� as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until January 5,
2009.
