RESOLUTION RELATING TO AN
INCREASE TO TH� SHERIFF'S
INVESTIGATION 12EVOLVING FUND
(ACCOUNT)
RESOLUTION No. 08- Q �9 -CC
WFI�ItEAS, Resolution No. 83-40-CC dated January 18, 1983 established a revolving fund
(account) for the Sheriff's Department #114, called the Sheriff's Investigation Revolving Account; and
- -�VIIEREAS,-the arriourit of $1,000:00 established liy Resolution No.-83-10-CC was deemed -
insufficient and increased to $5,000.00 by Resolution No. 86-22-CC dated March 3, 1986; the amount of
$5,000.00 was deemed insufficient then increased to $8,000.00 by Resolution No. 90-114-CC dated
October 23, 1990; and
WHEI2EAS, the amount of $8,000.00 has been deemed insufficient and the Sheriff's Office is
requesting an increase of $4,000.00 to a new total balance of $12,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEI2EBY RESOLVED THAT:
1. The amounts established by the Resolutions above are to be uicreased to $12,000.00
2. The use of the $12,000.00 will be for the purposes described in Resolution No. 83-10-CC
3. The existence and procedures of checking account will remain unchanged from that described
in Resolution No. 83-10-CC.

Please consider this my request to increase the Sheriffs Investigative Revolving Petty Cash Fund by
$4000. The additional funds will increase cash carried by the INET detectives from $500 to $1000 each.

T,�HEREAS, Resolution No. 83-40-CC, dated January 18,1983 establzshed

sheriif's Investigation Revolving Account; and
WIiEREAS, the amount of $1,000 estabiished by Resolution Number 83-10-CC
was deemed insufficiant and increased to $5,Q00 b� Resolution Number : 86-22-CC,
dated March 3,I98b; and '
WHEREAS, the amount of $5,Q00 wi11 be insufficient to the Interagency
Organizaiton of INET and the recently awarded narcotics contro� grant
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARII OF COUNTY CO�R�I3SSIONERS, that
l. The amounts established by Resolution Number 83-10-CC and 86-22-CC
for a total of $5,000 be increased ��to $8,000.
2. The use of the $8,000 will be for t�ze purposes desclribed itz Res-
olution Number 83-10-CC.
3. The existence and procedures of a ci�ecking account i ill zemain
unchanged from that described in Resolutzon Number '83-10-CC.
