The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:0o a.m. with all the Commissioners in
attendance with the Clerlc of the Board.
GRANT MENTAL HEALTHCARE UPDATE
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign the Initial License or Initial License with Contract(s)
Boarding Home License Application for Grant County Developmental Disabilities City View Residential.
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
The Commissioners approved and signed the January i8, ZooB Minutes.
As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers as presented by the Grant
County Health District: Payroll Vouchers No.1— 4, and General Fund Vouchers No. 5— 56, in the amount of
$i�8,976.g6, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing
officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing
officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amount of $958,50�.51 as recorded on a listing and made
available to the Board.
The Commissioners signed the Payroll Pick-up sheet for September, 2008.
As there were no further items before the Board, the session was continued until October �, 2008.

BID OPENING. DOOLITTLE PARK PATH
Bids were received from the following companies:
Commissioner Allison moved Co turn over the bids to Public Works for their review and recommendation.
Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The Commissioners approved the recommendation of the Public Works Director to award the bid to
Advanced Excavation, Inc. in the amount of $35�745•00.

Commissioner Allison moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Cornmissioner Carter seconded and the
motion passed with unanimously, as presented below:
COMMISSIONERS' OFFICE:
Commissioners Office Vouchers
Ordinance/Resolution No. 08-o86-CC creating Chapter 1.go of the Grant County Code
relating to private property talcings, establishing an economic impact analysis and a process for
state and federal agencies to coordinate and consult with Grant County in actions affecting land
and natural resource use on public property, and other matters properly relating thereto. A
public hearing was held on September 30, 2008 at ii:oo am.
Ordinance/Resolution No. 08-o8�-CC amending Ch. 9.06 of the Grant County Code by
adding the Beverly/Schawana area to Grant County's dog Control Areas in which the uncontrolled
use of dogs is prohibi�ed and, other matters properly relating thereto. A public hearing was held
on September 8, 2008 at 2:0o p.m.
HUMANRESOURCES
Personnel Action Request Recommendation for Developmental Disabilities to add three (g) new
Full Time Supervisor positions and one (i) Part Time Residential Services Liaison position to
their department.
GRANT MENTAL HFALTHCA R F
Request to designate Ryan Duarte as a County Designated Mental Health Professional and have it
be effective October �5, 2008. (Itesolution 1Vo. 08-o88-CC)
FAIRGROUNDS
Request to withdrawal the original out of state travel request from the Fair Manager to attend an
IAFE convention in Las Vegas and now requests out of state travel to the Rocky Mountain Fair
Convention in Coeur d'Alene, ID from November 12-15, 2008.
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
The Commissioners approved and signed the February 4, ��, i8, and 25, 2008 Minutes.
As there were no further items before the Board the session was continued until October i3, 2008.
