COUNTY ROAD, A CONTINUATION OF
BROADWAYAVENUE S., Mattawa ESTABLISHING COUNTY
ROAD
WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works holds the Deed and Right-of-Way as set forth in
the Quit Claim Deed, Dated June 13, 1983, Recorded on Page 39 of Book 428 and the recording
number of 745361, less the easements listed in said document and set forth here after the legal
description, AND
WHEREAS, it is the intent of Grant County Public Works to establish the following
described road section as a Grant County Road, for road purposes as stated in said deed, AS
SHOWN IN `EXHIBIT A', and that said property is in use as access to the Grant County Public
Works District No. 3, Mattawa Satellite Shop, and other parcels.
LEGALDESCRIPTION: Thatportionofthe SE1/4 oftheNEl/4 of Section2, T14N, R23E E.W.M.
better described as follows: A strip of land 66.00 feet in width, the
centerline of which lies parallel to and 390.04 feet distant from,
as measured at the right angles to, the east line of the SE1/4 of the NE1/4
of said section 2. Also described as tax parcel# 9919, Lying south of
Broadway Ave. S., Mattawa. Containing 2.05 acres, more or less.
Subject to easements, reservations, and restrictions of record as follows:
1) Grant County will use this property for road purposes and
public utilities only.

2) The reserved and assigned 5 foot easement of record, for water
transmission and supply lines, located contiguous and adjacent to the
easterly and westerly boundaries of the above described property.
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.81.070, a public hearing shall be held to
consider said action and the report of the County Engineer.
NOW THERErORE B� IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing on the report and
other related matters shall be held in the Hearing Room of the Board of County Commissioners of
Grant County, Washington located in the County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington
