The Commissioners postponed item number 2 until they could further review the plan. COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION The Commissioners approved items i and 2 as listed above and set the public hearing for September g, 2008 at g:oo pm. The Commissioners approved and signed items 3 and 4 as listed above. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until August 12, 2008. MISCELLEINEOUS ITEMS Memorandum of Agreement (June i6, 2008) between Grant County and the International Union of Operating Engineers for the purpose of addressing the matter of holiday pay for certain employees on an interim basis pending the outcome of negotiations for a successor collective bargaining agreement. As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers as presented by the Grant County Health District: Payroll Vouchers No. i— 4, and General Fund Vouchers No. 5— 56, in the amount of $178�859•29> as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.ogo, in the amount of $472�375•7o as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. The Commissioners signed the Public Worlcs Claims Fund Voucher Approval No. 08-1 through No, o8-i47 in the total amount of $3�094�509.86, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. PROHIBITING STANDING, PARKIIVG, AND STOPPING OF A VEHICLE ON A PORTION OF CRESCENT SAR RD (CH. ii.g2.oio GCC) The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing regarding an Ordinance that would prohibit standing, parking and stopping of a vehicle on that certain portion of the Crescent Bar Rd and County right of way and modifying Ch, i1.32.010 of the Grant County Code. The Director stated that Mr. Ed Pace had petitioned the Commissioners in 200� for this Ordinance and stated that the description is a follows: Crescent Bar Rd, beginning at the ninety degree turn located south of Crescent Bar Sridge and thence in a westerly direction along Crescent Bar Rd a distance of seven hundred and forty feet (740') to the Columbia River (Wanapum Pool) and there terminating. Commissioner Allison moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing, Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
