The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:0o am with all the Commissioners in
attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION
The Commissioners decided to table this request to gather further information.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until August 5,
2008.

Consent Agenda
The session was continued at 9:0o am with Commissioners Stevens and Carter in attendance with the
Clerle of the Board. Commissioner Allison was out and excused.
CLOSED RECORD PUBLIC HEARING CORA LEE MOORE MINOR REZONE
The Commissioner held a Closed Record Public Hearing regarding a Minor Zone Change application from
Cora Lee Moore for a rezone of a i.793-acre parcel. The rezone will consist of changing the zoning from
Urban Residential g to Urban Residential2 to make it consistent with land use designation. The subject
area is located in Cascade Valley at the corner of Shorecrest Rd NE and Dahl Rd NE, and is a portion of
the SW quarter of the SW quarter of S 8, T 19 N, R 28 E, W M(Parcel no. i2-o947-000). Commissioner
Carter moved to uphold the Planning Commission recommendation and approve the application as
presented, recognizing the 10 Findings of Fact. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed
with 2 Cornmissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned. (Ordinance No. o8-o6i-CC)
CLOSED RECORD PUBLIC HEARING, BRUCE CRAWFORD PRELIMINARY PLAT OF
VIEW RIDGE
The Commissioners held a Closed Record Public Hearing regarding a Preliminary Plat application from
Bargals, Inc., Bruce Crawford to subdivide a 1o.i� acre parcel in the Urban Residential3 zone to create
forty-three residential lots and one i,231-sq/ft lot in the NE corner of the site designated as sanitary lift
station. Lots vary in size from 5.469 to i5,68� sq/ft. There is one existing residence that will rernain on
the site. The property is located in the NW quarter of the intersection of Airway Dr and Cochran Rd NE.
The site address is 4678 Airway Dr, Moses Lalce; and is in a portion of S 9, T i9 N, R 28 E, W M(Parcel
No. 1�-0288-00o together with 1�-o23i-oio). Commissioner Carter moved to uphold the Planning
Commission recommendation and approve the application as presented, recognizing the 1� Conditions of
Approval and i2 Findings of Fact. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2
Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned. (Resolution No. 08-o63-CC)

Commissioner Carter moved to turn the bids over to Public Works for their review and recommendation.
Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
D POHLE, PUBLIC WORICS UPDATE
The Commissioners approved and signed the Local Agency Agreement No. LA 646i Supplement No. 2
between Grant County Public Worlcs and the Washington State Department of Transportation for the
Bridge #1i8, Rd F-NE project.
The Commissioners approved the Director's recommendation to award the bid for the Beverly and
Schawana Streets Projects to HLT Construction in the amount of $2ig,689.00.
The Commissioners approved and signed Resolution No. 08-o62-CC in the matter of transferring
jurisdiction of a portion of County right-of-way, known as John St. alca Paxon Dr., from Gary St. to North
End of Sunrise Addition at Marleet St.

motion passed with 2 Commissioners present, as presented below:

recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
