RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER RESOLUTION No. 08- ('�/ -CC
OF STUHLMILLER FIRE, July 22,
2008
WHEREAS, the Department of Grant County Emergency Management
has repoi-ted to the Grant County Board of County Commissioners on July 22,
2008, that the impacts of a wildfire, which began on July 22, 2008, within a
portion of Grant County terrain, which will threaten residents in the area of
Crescent Bar. The fire impacted approximately 5,000 acres of rural Grant County.
WI3EREAS, local resources from Grant County Fire Districts 3, 5, 10, 13,
under Mission number 08-2302 was assigned by the State Duty Officer on July
22, 2008.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners Chairman, Richard
Stevens at the request of the Emergency Management Director to authorize
activation of Grant County's Comprehensive Emergency Managemant Plan
Emergency Support Function 4;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT:
(1) It is hereby declared that there is an emergency due to the impacts
suffered from the wildlandfire of July 22, 2008, throughout a portion
