RESOLUTION No. 08- nll -CC
WHEREAS, the following Grant County funds do not have an adequate level of budget
appropriation to malce all necessary expenditures:
Coroner's Office Fund #001, Department #120 in the amount of $2,500.00
to purchase small tools
Fairgrounds Fund #126, Department #168 in the amount of $40,000.00 for
ADA Improvements to the Fairgrounds Park
District Court Fund #001, Department #102 in the amount of $800.00 for a
grant received from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission to start a
new drug court
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing
the 2008 budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriatiions.
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of February, 2008, at 9:30 am, a public hearing was held in
the Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HERESY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of $43,300.00 to be allocated to the 2008 budget
according to the following schedule of categories and items:
