WHEIaEAS, the following Grant County fitnds do not have an adequate level of budget
appropriation to malce a11 necessary expenditures:
Emergency Management Fund #102, Department #144 in the amount of
$8,500.00 to purchase a phone system for their new office location;
Sheriff's Office Fund #001, Department #114 in the ainount of $4,000.00 to
purchase four speed measuring devices (radar units) using reimbursable WA
Association of Sheriff's and Police Chiefs (WASPC) Grant funds.
WHER�AS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing
the 2007 budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriations.
W�IEREAS, on the 3rd day of March, 2008 at 2:00 pm, a public heariilg was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, �'HEREFORE, BE IT HE1ZE�� RESOL�ED �Y THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSI011�ERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STAZ'E OF WASHI1�iGTON, that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of $12,500.00 to be allocated to the 2008 budget
according to the following sehedule of categories and items:
